CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Have you ever thought of turning everyday objects into wearable jewelry? With the knowledge from this class, you can! During this class students will be using introductory metalsmithing techniques to turn coins in unique rings. Students will learn to punch, anneal, forge, and apply finishing techniques to transform their coins. This is a great way to repurpose that pocket full of change from your last trip overseas or show your state pride using any of the commemorative quarters that are in circulation today. No previous experience is required to be successful in this class!

PREREQUISITE: All skill level welcome, no previous metalsmithing experience required.
