LORENA ANGULO – WORKING WITH EZ960 STERLING METAL CLAY

From: $540.73

PREREQUISITES/SKILL LEVEL: All levels welcome!

During this class students will explore the basics of sculpting, stamping and carving EZ960 Sterling Metal Clay to be able to create a unique piece of jewelry.  The students will work to transform this wonderful material into a complete finished silver piece.  Students will also learn how to roll the clay, texture it, carve it, etc.  We will focus on the firing schedule and how to finish their pieces after fired.  Today there are a lot a new tools and equipment to work with metal clay, but I want students to know that they do not necessarily need all of that to be able to make wonderful  jewelry.

My classes are not “project” classes. I let each student create whatever they want, and I will guide them to be able to create a unique piece of jewelry with their own creative voice.
