I love using a brass butterfly die to make beautiful dimensional butterflies, that can then be attached to a chosen backplate. I think you will too!

This is where students will begin, as once completed, the butterfly will become a beautiful focal point of a pendant. It can then be made into a necklace, that is as simple or elaborate as you desire. The main objective in this class will be to learn how to get the best impression of your butterfly as possible, simply by using a pusher and some additional ‘helpers’.

After we all have a nice group of “perfect” butterflies, I’ll demo what you can do with them to make a beautiful hollow form piece of jewelry! Of course, we will ‘lift & layer’ your focal, to give your necklace even more dimension!

Whether you like a long flowing piece, or perhaps a choker or layering necklace, you will love what you are able to design using these beauties.

As a bonus, I will also demonstrate a special technique to embellish a chain (that I will have as part of your kit) for your piece. It will be a surprise! Just bring all the sterling silver wire I’ve included in your Materials Students Must Provide list. I promise, it will be both challenging and beautiful!

* You will be making the pendant only in class and be able to finish the entire necklace once you return to your home
