From: $377.65

Learn how to make two pendants that attach to one another with handmade jump rings. We will jazz it up using decorative bezel wire, decorative gallery wire, gold or silver balls (I will cover how to make these!) and mixed metals (sterling silver, brass or copper wire and sheet metal). You will also learn how to hand twist two pieces of wire to make a braid that can be used to decorate your bezel or used as jump rings. You will learn various ways to solder (sweat soldering, using paste solder) small decorative elements requiring heat/torch control. Various strategic soldering set ups will be covered that will help you successfully do multiple soldering operations on one piece. You will learn not only how to make a bezel for your cabochon but also how to make that bezel look professional. We will also learn how to fix any soldering mistakes and finish those pieces so they’re ready for an Instagram worthy photo! In addition, we will make an S-shaped clasp along with extender chain using handmade jump rings. You may purchase leather cord and sterling silver end caps to make a leather chain for your pendant(optional) or you may bring your own chain.

PREREQUISITE: Advanced Beginner Class. Some previous soldering experience with a micro-torch required. There are multiple soldering operations involved in this project and we will practice heat/torch control.
